Rain washed-out game ends our Playoffs hopes

St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots added to their points tally but not exactly the way they would have liked to. Rain caught up to wash out Patriots’ penultimate game against Jamaica Tallawahs just when Chris Lynn and Evin Lewis were finally able to stitch a meaningful first wicket partnership. The teams shared one point each. This puts the Patriots out of the race for the Playoffs.

In the 5.4 overs that were bowled, the Patriots ran to 46 before heavy showers forced the game to be abandoned. If the Tallawahs had a chance to bat, they would have faced a stiff target of 67 in 5 overs, unfortunately that was not to be.

The Patriots finish their league engagements against table-toppers Trinbago Knight Riders on Sunday.
